St. Anthony Club, 561 Beaver Ave., Midland, is offering take-out dinners from 3 to 7 p.m. May 8. Dinners include enchiladas, Spanish rice and refried beans for $15; or Italian sub with side of pasta salad for $12. Dinners must be ordered by 1 p.m. May 7 at 724-643-1820. Pick up is at the side door.
Swaney Memorial Library
Swaney Memorial Library, 210 S. Court St., New Cumberland, will host its grand opening of The Free Seed Library from 4 to 6 p.m. May 3. Refreshments will be served. Masks and social distancing are required.
The purpose of The Free Seed Library is to promote gardening and healthy eating among all those who wish to participate. People will take seeds home and plant them. At the end of the growing season, each person will return to the library the seeds from the plants they grew. Each participant will receive written instructions in growing and gathering seeds.

Mackenzey Infanti, daughter of Ron and Amy Infanti of Wellsville, has been selected as the Kiwanis Student of the Month for January at Southern Local High School. She is ranked 3rd in her graduating class with a 4.396 GPA.
Mackenzey has been an Honor Roll student throughout her high school career. She is an active member of National Honor Society, Drama Club, and Varsity Club. She was on the 2019 Fall Homecoming Court and has served as a teacher aid and elementary mentor. She has participated in the College Credit Program at Eastern Gateway Community College.
Mackenzey is a three-year letter-winner in volleyball. She has received the Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches’ Association Academic Award, most blocks, and most improved player award.
