Im Lauren Lyster in for annemarie green. Veteran cbs news correspondent bob simon is being remembered this morning as a reporters reporter. A gifted writer who reported from the most dangerous places on earth. Simon was killed last night in a car accident here in new york city. He was a passenger in a cab that hit another car that had stopped at a traffic light. Cbs news anchor scott pelley announced simons death in a special report. His body of work earned bob too many journalistic medals to count here tonight. His daughter tania is a producer and tonight our thoughts are with tania and bobs family and his many, many friends.
