I believe I speak for all Delaware County residents when I say that 2020 cannot end fast enough. New Year’s will take on special meaning this year as we joyfully witness the passing of this monstrous annum. It’s not that our problems will evaporate on Jan. 1, but the New Year holiday does offer a date of symbolic renewal.
The end of the year is also a time to register blessings. I’m thankful for my family’s good health and that I’m still employed. I’m also deeply grateful for our community’s vast network of greenspaces and trails, which preserved my sanity these past 10 months.
