BRONSON, MI (WTVB) â Addison Harris threw a no hitter in the second game of Tuesdayâs Big 8 Conference doubleheader as Bronson swept Reading in the twinbill 12-2 and 18-0.
Harris struck out four batters and walked one in the five inning game. She also had a double and two RBIâs. Kaylee Withington had three hits including a triple and two RBIâs.
Lynsey Smith was the winning pitcher in the first game. She along with Brealyn Lasky both had three hits. Withington homered and drove in two runs. Jaydn Cary also had two RBIâs.

BRONSON, MI (WTVB) â Lynsey Smith and Mya Webb combined on a three inning no hitter Friday afternoon in the first game of a Big 8 Conference doubleheader as Bronson swept Concord 15-0 and 23-3.
Kaylee Withington led the Bronson offense with two doubles and a pair of RBIâs.
Addison Harris was the winning pitcher in the nightcap with eight strikes outs in four plus innings of work. She got plenty of hitting support. Helena Eley homered and had four hits. Smith and Paige Roussey both drove in three runs.
BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Vikings and the Quincy Orioles girls softball teams had the brooms working on Tuesday as they recorded Big 8 Conference doubleheader sweeps.
Bronson swept Springport by scores of 13-1 and 10-0. Lynsey Smith and Addison Harris were the winning pitchers. Smith struck out nine in four innings of work in the first game. Harris allowed two hits and struck out four in the second game which ended after five innings.
Karissa Gest collected three hits in the opener for Bronson. She along with Haylie Wilson and Harris all tripled.
Maddie Ratkowski had three hits in the second game while Paige Roussey, Jaydn Cary, Smith and Helena Eley all drove in two runs.
