WILKES-BARRE — The second March for Trans Liberation brought about 30 members, allies and supporters of the trans community to Public Square on Sunday.
Luzerne County Councilâs election inquiry committee finalized its recommendations on Thursday and will present its findings to council next month.
First, committee members will receive a draft copy of the committeeâs final report on Friday, Chairwoman Linda McClosky Houck said at the end of Thursdayâs committee meeting, held remotely.
If committee members agree with the findings, the committee will hold no further meetings and will submit its report to the full county council on Feb. 9, Houck said.
Council formed the committee, which includes council members Stephen J. Urban, Harry Haas, Sheila Saidman and Houck, in October, following several election-related controversies.
