The much-awaited sequel to “Black Panther” is underway.
Marvel’s Kevin Feige announced recently at the “Black Widow” movie premiere that writer-director Ryan Coogler and returning cast members have started work on its sequel titled “Wakanda Forever.”
Expected to return are Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Daniel Kaluuya, Winston Duke, Lupia Nyong’o, Florence Kasumba and Angela Bassett.
Marvel still has to announce who will take the mantle of Black Panther a.k.a. T’Challa, a role perfectly characterized by actor Chadwick Boseman who passed away due to an illness August of last year.
“It’s clearly very emotional without Chad, but everyone is also very excited to bring the world of Wakanda back to the public and back to the fans. We’re going to do it in a way that would make Chad proud,” Kevin Feige said.
