LUDHIANA: In the wake of the surge in Covid-19 cases, the district magistrate-cum-deputy commissioner on Monday ordered the closure of all educational institutions till April 30.
In the order, the district magistrate said as all educational institutions, including schools/colleges, were already closed since April 9, it has been found that IELTS and other coaching centres are running in full capacity.
Varinder Kumar Sharma said the online classes were allowed for IELTS and other coaching centres.
He said the violators would face legal action.
