It happened at 5th and market in San Francisco near the powell street bart station. This was one of the cruise cars that are in use across the city. Nbc bay areas Terry Mcsweeney arrived there within the last 30 minutes. Terry, what do you know at this point . Reporter well, im on 5th street just south of market, not even half a block south of market street, and that vehicle you see right there with the emergency flashers on, that is the driverless cruise car at the center of this story. San Francisco Fire Department tells me about 9 30 tonight they received a call of a person trapped underneath a vehicle. They come out here and they see this vehicle and underneath the rear tire was a woman. They had to use jaws of life to lift the vehicle to get her out of there. She is in very bad shape.
