Asteroid 2019 R91 came within 23,238 miles of Earth’s surface on Thursday but went undetected. According to the NASA, asteroid 2019 R91 was travelling at speeds of 57,937mph and it came closer than some satellites orbiting the Earth.
A pair of massive asteroids named identified as 2000 QW7 and 2010 CO1 will dangerously approach Earth on September 14. Classified as Near-Earth Objects by NASA s Centre for Near-Earth Object Studies (CNEOS), the space rocks will approach Earth within a 24-hour period.
