As LPG prices continue to rise, carinderia owners in Davao City are finding alternative ways to cook their food. Son-son Maitum has started using wood as fuel, and Jestoni Polong has not increased his food prices despite the hardships.
Now customers have to pay Tk 1.48 more for a kilogramme of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission today set the price of a kg LPG at Tk 115.09 up from Tk 113.61 last month.
