OROVILLE, Calif. - Forward progress has stopped on a grass fire, just over two acres in size, that started in Palermo on Sunday afternoon.
Firefighters were quickly able to stop the progress on the fire that was burning near Oak Knoll Road and Lower Wyandotte by getting CAL FIRE engines and crews to the scene quickly. An engine from the Oroville Fire Department also came to help put out the Lower Fire.
