Fire managers on the Prescott National Forest plan to continue with prescribed burning in the Prescott Basin on the Bradshaw Ranger District south of Prescott next week.
The lower Rogue River Trail, the 40-mile path that goes through the river canyon from Grave Creek to Agness, has been reopened by the Bureau of Land Management.
The Rainie Falls Trail, on the opposite.
UPDATE: Officials say a new evacuation center has been set up at the Yavapai College Prescott Campus. The address is 1100 E Sheldon St, Prescott. It was previously at the Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott Valley, but it has moved. Anyone with questions or requiring help can call 1-800-RED-CROSS The Crooks Fire burning south of Prescott has charred more than 1,600 acres so far. Evacuations remain in place for areas previously evacuated because of the wind-driven fire near Senator Highway.
