But none of them had been charged with anything until today which was almost certainly a result of what happened last night. And the fact that no charges were filed for anyone who saw that video was hard to understand. So yesterday, late in the day, the us attorney, the county attorney and the fbi held a joint press conference, which was intended to reassure everyone that justice would be done. But it didnt. It made it worse. And so again, protestors gathered. They threw rocks, they set the Police Station on fire. The police had to abandon their headquarters. They abandoned the neighborhood. Dr. Bright was recently removed from his post as head of the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority and replaced with the guy who makes trumps omelets at maralago. This was a scary hearing today. Dr. Bright warned us that the window is closing to address the pandemic and, you know, unless that window was a drivethru window at kfc theres no way trumps even going to bother. Bright said if we dont get our act together the United States could be headed for the darkest winter in modern history. The good news is it sounds like hes saying we might make it to winter.
