Time is running out for firms to sign up for a free online manufacturing conference featuring Cumbrian businesses.
The full line-up for Made Smarterâs digital manufacturing conference has been revealed with Cumbrian businesses among 44 set to appear.
Billed as an event for manufacturers by manufacturers, the free-to-access virtual summit on March 10 will showcase how Cumbrian businesses can leverage and fast-track digital technology and tools for a year of recovery, growth and resilience.
Included on the billing are Keith Scobie-Youngs from Cumbria Clock Company and Ben Soper of Stead McAlpin & Company.

There are more than 6 billion word searches on the internet everyday. More than 4 billion of those are on Google. More than 94% of those searches lead to an ‘organic’ link click, with just over 5% opting for the advert.
Experts say that if you are a pure-play digital company, then at least 40% of your initial cost of setup should go towards your search engine optimisation (SEO).
But what is this mythical beast that everyone speaks of so reverentially?
