From dressing bullet wounds to analyzing biosolids to developing LGBTQ outreach plans for the Alzheimer’s community, St. Louis Fellows at Washington University in St. Louis made many contributions to regional nonprofits this summer. The Gephardt Institute celebrated their efforts Oct. 18.
Organized by the Gephardt Institute for Civic and Community Engagement at Washington University in St. Louis, Civic Action Week run from Oct. 16-22. Events include the art exhibit “The Queer Experience: Joy as Resistance,” a panel about labor rights and a WashU Votes happy hour for graduate students.
The Gephardt Institute for Civic and Community Engagement invites undergraduate and graduate students at Washington University in St. Louis to apply for grants from the St. Louis Impact Fund, a new program that aims to connect students to community partners across the St. Louis.
