AEW Dark recap (Dec. 15, 2020): Scorpio Sky threw Shawn Spears through a wall

AEW Dark featured Abadon going after Hikaru Shida and Scorpio Sky throwing Shawn Spears through a wall.
The best moment of the show came thanks to Scorpio Sky. Dr. Britt Baker DMD hosted another edition of, “The Waiting Room,” and roasted Cody Rhodes’ neck tattoo. Shawn Spears and Tully Blanchard were guests.

Dr. Baker demanded to know how Spears could be eliminated by Scorpio Sky in the recent battle royale. A knock was heard at the door. Marko Stunt was ready as musical guest, but Spears slammed the door in Stunt’s face. Another knock at the door, and this time was Scorpio Sky. He bum-rushed Spears and threw him through a wall.
Excalibur welcomed us to AEW Dark, and was joined alongside by Anthony Ogogo and Taz on commentary…
1. Southera Chhun vs. Ricky Starks (w/Will Hobbs). Chunn threw strikes to Starks as the match began, which saw Starks put his elbows up. Chhun continued to dominate Starks, before Starks threw Chhun into the turnbuckle to stop his momentum. Hobbs then threw an illegal shot to Chhun. Starks hit the back elbow to Chhun. Chhun then used the ropes for a stunner on Starks, and got a two count. Despite the stunner, Starks laid out Chhun with the spear to score the victory.
During an interview with Sportskeeda, Darby Allin was asked how he feels about The Icon Sting. I was a Sting fan, but I never watched WCW or any real wrestling stuff back in the day. But when I go back and watch it when I was a little older, Sting was one of those guys that captivated me as a performer. He has a lot of interesting traits in himself that I gravitated towards.
Allin was asked if he foresees a match against Sting. I have no clue. I don t know what his health s like. I don t know what he wants to do. But if he wants to get in the ring with me, I m ready. If he s ready, I m ready. But I have no clue if he s actually going to be ready. Everything s up in the air.

On tonight s episode of
Raw, Lana managed to pick up an upset victory over one-half of the WWE Women s Tag Team Champions, Nia Jax.
After the match though, Lana fell victim to both Jax and Shayna Baszler.
