Before we head into the gallery, i want to talk about this particular that is out in the lobby in front of the entrance. It has a photograph of the 1913 womens suffrage march. Looking a pennsylvania avenue towards the United States capital. It is overlaid with a photograph from the 2017 womens march from pennsylvania avenue as well. What it was is a lenticular, which has a special effect so that as you walk by, the image changes between the two and we really wanted to have it in the exhibit to help grab the publics attention and also to signal that this is a historic exhibit but one that continues to have contemporary relevance today.
