Understandable that people would want that corrected. We should for a variety of reasons, not least of which is future elections. What the president is saying, does it interfere with the peaceful transfer of power, not just among our leaders, but just among regular americans . Sen. Romney i think there will be a peaceful transfer of power when there is a change in leadership in january. Until then, i think the Transition Team will work with the trump leadership. I think that will go smoothly. We are a nation of laws. We allow for recounts. Regularities and these things go to the courts and the courts make a fair and impartial decision. That is essential for our nation to have confidence in our institutions and for nations around the world to recognize democracy works. Saying something other than that would only be to cheer for the chinese and russians and those who want to bring down freedom and democracy. So pursue every legal avenue, and that is what the president will do, but it is
You as the enemy . Do you think joe biden sees you that way . Rep. Ocasiocortez i do not believe joe biden sees me that way. And i think that is one of the reasons he won election. There is a marked difference between 2020 and 2016 in how the Democratic Party was able to unify, to joe bidens credit, before the election and get everyone on the same page to make sure we vote donald trump out of office. That being said, there are, at least in the house caucus, very deep divisions within the party, and i believe that we need to really come together and not allow republican narratives to tear us apart. As you mentioned, we have a slimmer democratic majority. It is going to be more important than ever for us to Work Together and not fight each other. And so, when we kind of come out swinging not 48 hours after tuesday, when we do not even have solid data yet, pointing fingers and telling each other what to do, it deepens the division in the party and it is irresponsible. It is irresponsible

Hi, everybody. My names rebecca nagel, im a journalist and host of a podcast, this land, and im really, really excited to be digging into this conversation over next hour the next hour because i think it is more important now than ever. I think, you know, in this moment of a Global Pandemic, we are seeing the systemic failures of our government right now. You know, sort of all of the cracks in the system that were already existing are more apparent than ever, and i think a lot of us have our eyes on this upcoming election and if that election going to be a solution or make the problem worse. So, steve, ill direct the first question to you, you know, with a lot of democrats [audio difficulty] singular focus on beating donald trump in november, theres a lot of debate about whether or not those efforts
