Wellbeing charity gets four-figure cash boost from Amazon

A COMMUNITY wellbeing charity has received a four-figure cash boost from Amazon in Gourock. Safe Harbour, who work with people experiencing complex emotional trauma, had their funds boosted after a £1,000 donation from staff at the Faulds Park site. The charity plan to use the cash to maintain telephone outreach for those affected by emotional hardship and isolation, as well as food parcels. Duncan Shaw, chief executive of Safe Harbour, said: We have seen increased demand for our support over the past few months, so this money will help us to reach as many people as we possibly can. The donation was made to the charity as part of the Amazon in the Community programme.
