Two boys added hundreds to donations for Pennies for Patients from two Willmar elementary schools. Levi Spencer and Hunter Butterfield, students at Roosevelt Elementary, found a variety of ways to each raise $500 for the charity.
With the school year nearly over, teachers are working to gauge their students' progress after a year of upheaval during the pandemic. During the year, students, families and teachers have learned about each other and had to look to each other for support.
