The Lunch Buddy Program, a Ridgewater College/Willmar Public Schools program, has paired college students and elementary students for 25 years. Students eat lunch and spend time together once a week.
Two boys added hundreds to donations for Pennies for Patients from two Willmar elementary schools. Levi Spencer and Hunter Butterfield, students at Roosevelt Elementary, found a variety of ways to each raise $500 for the charity.
