Now that COVID-19 shots are available to everyone 16 and up, it’s just a matter of time before you’re fully vaccinated (if you’re not already). That means you’ll able to move through the world with much more freedom than you’ve had for the past year.
Amazing news!
But if you are vaccinated and your kids are not, the extent of that freedom may feel uncertain.
Will this long-awaited immunity allow you to return to something that resembles your pre-pandemic life? Or do you have to wait until your kids are vaccinated as well?

OAKLAND, Calif. - It s been a long and tragic year as the global pandemic wreaked havoc and stole lives and jobs around the globe.
In California, nearly 56,000 people have died of the virus and there have been more than 3.6 million positive cases.
A year later, marked on Wednesday, there are some glimmers of hope.
Here is a look at the past year in photos:

Parts of California have finally reopened their doors after Covid-19 restrictions were eased on Monday with people flocking to its theaters, gyms, restaurants and tourist attractions.
Los Angeles County, which is home to more than 10million people, ended some measures of its harsh lockdown after Gov. Gavin Newsom declared the area sufficiently vaccinated.
Cooped-up residents made the most of their new freedoms Monday as they headed to food courts while still wearing masks and observing social distancing.
