Amin walking 100 miles whilst fasting to raise money for Hospice

Amin walking 100 miles whilst fasting to raise money for Hospice Amin Babor Chowdhury will be walking an incredible 100 miles whilst fasting in aid of local and Bangladeshi charities. Amin was born and educated in Bangladesh. He worked as a teacher there and came to the UK in 2007. He has since become an established public figure in the Oldham community. His initiative aims to promote health and well- being in the community and emphasises the importance of physical activity and exercise and of course to raise funds for good causes. While others bungee jump, run marathons or skydive, Amin is an advocate for walking in aid of charity. He hopes to spread the message that walking is a sustainable, enjoyable form of staying fit. Compared to running or going to the gym, walking is a neglected form of exercise that builds stamina, burns calories and makes the heart healthier.
