New COVID-19 cases reported at two schools, outbreaks declared at two others

Article content Even though schools are closed for the Christmas break, the Thames Valley District school board reported COVID-19 cases at two schools Tuesday. There are two cases at Lord Dorchester secondary school in Dorchester and one case at Princess Elizabeth elementary in London’s Glen Cairn neighbourhood, the board said. Health officials are tracking down the close contacts of each case, the board said. Only those identified as close contacts will be notified and advised to quarantine for 14 days. Elementary schools are scheduled to reopen Jan. 11, but secondary schools won’t reopen until Jan. 25.
