Pic credit: ©Imagecollect.com/Admedia Queen Elizabeth II has gone back to work with her first official public engagements since the funeral of Prince Philip on April 17. The Queen’s husband sadly passed away on April 9 at the age of 99. The Duke of Edinburgh had been by Her Majesty’s side for over 70 years. On Prince Philip’s death, the Family instigated a two-week period of mourning, whereby only certain appropriate duties were carried out by family members. Those that did perform official engagements wore black as a mark of mourning.

I send my thanks to the emergency services and all those involved in the relief effort. My prayers will remain with the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines at this very difficult time.
