It was a short Brush City Council Meeting on Monday evening, lasting only 10 minutes, but the council heard about plenty of events happening this week as well as some items coming before them to start the new year. The meeting started with Community Development Director Tyler Purvis informing the board of a recommendation to appoint MaKyle Mares to the Historic Preservation Board. Ballot question 2C passed 588 to 534 last Tuesday according to the unofficial results, and the Brush City Council will start the ordinance process soon to see how many chickens residents will be permitted to have amongst other regulations.
