Seaside Man Dies In Highway 26 Accident Monday Details Published: 12 January 2021 A 65-year-old Seaside man lost his life Monday in a fatal traffic accident on Highway 26.   Preliminary investigation revealed a Ford Explorer, operated by Lonnie Meade of Seaside, was eastbound and stopped to turn left into a driveway when it was struck from behind by a Peterbilt semi-truck operated by Alejandro Flores of Tigard.  Meade sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased.  Flores was not injured. OSP was assisted by the Seaside Fire Department, Hamlet Fire Department, and ODOT.
