London Wine Fair 2021 to go ahead in fully digital format The London Wine Fair 2021 is to go ahead virtually in May, its organisers have announced. The event, which had been set to take place in a hybrid digital and physical format, was moved completely online following consultation with exhibitors, the venue - London s Olympia - and the Association of Event Organisers in light of on-going uncertainty around Covid-19. Set to take place from 17 to 19 May, the event will be the first live trade tasting event of its scale in the UK for 14 months and organisers hope to offer a pioneering experience to ticket holders.

The London Wine Fair will take place online this year as coronavirus restrictions have made a virtual show “inevitable”, head of the exhibition Hannah Tovey said this morning.
No live event this year as the London Wine Fair goes virtual
Admitting that she had been confident at the end of last year that the 2021 show would take place as a live event at its usual mid-May timing, today, Hannah Tovey said that there was “too much uncertainty” for this to be possible.
“In December we were very confident that a live event would be possible; everything was looking extremely positive at that stage and the Association of Event Organisers (AEO) was advising that live events could safely take place from early 2021,” began Tovey.
