All too often, St. Patrick s Day celebrations turn deadly because of impaired driving. As the St. Patrick s Day weekend approaches, the Lombard Police Department is joining local law enforcement across the state to stop impaired driving and help save lives. The campaign will run from March 10-19.
Heading into Super Bowl weekend, the Lombard Police Department is reminding football fans and partygoers that they will be out in full force to keep our roads safe from impaired drivers.
The incident began Thursday around 4 p.m. when Lombard police officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at Pipes & Tobacco Smoke Shop, 54 W. Roosevelt Rd., in Lombard, and two men running from the store.
