Thane city reports nearly 300 new COVID-19 cases; spike in Naupada-Kopri, Vartak Nagar Mirror Online / Updated: Mar 12, 2021, 10:43 IST Thane city has seen an upward trend in new COVID-19 cases in the city. Lake city has seen a massive spike of 291 positive cases in a span of 24 hours. On Wednesday, the city had reported 256 cases, while 205 people had tested positive on Tuesday. Three more people also succumbed to the virus, taking the overall toll to 1,347. Whereas, 132 people were also discharged in a day. So far, 62,117 people have recovered.
