president s words were demoralizing or disheartening or any words like that. they were very condemn triof russia and putin but it wasn t like this. i would agree with jeffrey this isn t really a cutting sort of rebuke. it s very nuanced. it might help with some democrats. i do too. gloria is making a very important point there. this is going to help him get confirmed. yeah. exactly. it will show him it will show these comments which are again fairly mild, do show a measure of independence and especially at this moment when the judiciary and the president are at logger heads over the immigration issue. judicial independence is something a lot of democrats will look for. we ll see how sincere he is before the committee in march.
