SPARTANBURG, S.C. – After earning a fifth place finish at the NCAA Southeast Regionals, freshman Gladys Chepngetich officially secured her place in the NCAA Championships as she is the first female to be named an individual automatic qualifier for Clemson since 2018. In the Women’s 6k, the Tigers finished 13th overall and in the Men’s 10k, the Tigers finished 15th overall.In the 10k, Victor Ndiwa was the first to cross the line for Clemson as he secured a top-25 finish. Ndiwa completed the event in 29 minutes and 39 seconds and had an average pace of four minutes and 46 seconds. In the 6k, Chepngetich recorded a fifth-place finish as she was the first female to cross the line for the Tigers. The freshman completed the 6k in 19 minutes and 52 seconds and had an average pace of five minutes and 19 seconds. For the full results, click here.
