Reporter well, chris and mary, police are looking into a half dozen fires this morning including the one that burned down this construction site on 66th avenue. Theyre trying to see if they were all started by an axel rant and they are try axel rant and they are trying to determine who is responsible. Cellphone video showing the towering flames shooting from the construction site tuesday. The location where police say they have video of a man going into the building right before the fire erupts. Its the latest of six fires since october 20th that police say may have been deliberately set. Including in that investigation, this fire on 112th street and also a home under construction. Bronx and new jersey, accused of taking off with a 3yearold daughter after stabbing his wife the girls mother after their perry street home in the bronx. She was bleeding from her head to her belly. Police issued an amber alert for little rebecca after realizing her father had taken her soon after releasing this image of the minivan as he made his way into new jersey. At approximately 5 00, my detectives spotted the vehicle traveling northbound on the Garden State Park way. Police were able to quickly arrest him about three hours after the stabbing the little girl unarmed. Thank god he went willingly he didnt put up a fight.
