the cooking app, the news app, this other app, and they can put those things together and begin to develop a profile of who you are. with the location signals, you know, all these phones have, you know, built-in, you know, gps signals now. and so they can track you and know where you are at any time of the day. and so with that, you know, if they see you at one place at 8:00 in the morning, they can make a guess that s that your home, if they see you some plams at noon, they get a sense that s where you work, and so, again, they can use this to develop profiles of who you are, what you like, where you go, like, w think will make you more likely to respond to the advertising they re going to send to you. is there anything the consumer can do to protect themselves? it s one thing if we re all just electing to download these, we re kind of giving up our right to privacy, but what can the consumer do if anything to
