Artists transform old bus into art for Howell Nature Center

With a little imagination, kids can create anything from the raw materials they find outdoors.
A new Livingston County non-profit art initiative’s first project hopes to tap into that creative energy, according to the Livingston Daily Press & Argus.
The group, Raw Art, is establishing a new maker space for nature art at the Howell Nature Center. A group of local artists gathered recently at Schroeder’s Auto and RV Repair in Howell to paint a mural on a 35-seat bus.
They will convert the bus into a small maker space that will be permanently installed on the nature center grounds.

This father of 10 and symbol of our nation and freedom was in quite a bit of peril, dangling upside down and caught in a fishing line over the Huron River in Ann Arbor, Michigan, according to the Humane Society of Huron Valley.
It happened earlier this month, when a bald eagle that has been featured on a nest cam in Ann Arbor, known as “Fred,” was discovered about four feet from shore and one foot from the water, along the river trapped on a branch.
