Bolton Octagon has unveiled its warm up season from May as well as its first main house production for the summer.
The recently refurbished space will welcome audiences back on 26 May with new play
See You At the Octagon, penned by Becky Prestwich. Playing until 15 June, the piece is based on the stories of people in and around the town.
On 11 June, a plethora of comedians will take over the space with
Justin Moorhouse and Friends, while across the months of May and June the venue s First Bite playwriting events will return, featuring texts by Hannah Wilkin, Robert Hudson, Adam Kotwal, Jaclyn Backhaus and Liz Duffy Adams.

For the first time in a year, theater director Jade King Carroll has been able to share physical space with an actor in preparation of a performance before an actual audience – and what a joy it has been for her to be able to talk face to face, to turn to a designer or stage manager to discuss details large and small, and simply get up from a chair and walk around the rehearsal room at Portland Stage.
RADNOR The leadership at the top of the Radnor school board will be around for another year.
This week, the board unanimously elected its 2020 leadership team for 2021, with Susan Stern being re-elected president and Amy Goldman as vice president.
The nominations started with board member Sarah Dunn nominating Stern for another term as president.

Sternâs nomination was followed by Bradley Moore nominating Amy Goldman for the presidentâs position. Goldman, who has been the vice president for the past year, declined nomination.
With no other nominations, the board voted unanimously for Stern to serve another year as board president.
