The County of San Diego Office of Military and Veterans Affairs, in partnership with Self-Sufficiency Services, will bring the Live Well Mobile Office to the Coronado Public Library on Thursday,
Help came to those who are homeless in the East County after weeks of a growing encampment in unincorporated El Cajon, several county agencies teamed up to assist.
Free COVID-19 testing will still be available daily from San Diego County sites throughout the holidays, although hours will be shorter on certain days and fewer locations will be open.
Sites will operate on a regular schedule on Christmas Eveand Dec. 31, with each closing at 4 p.m.
Three sites University of San Diego, Cal State University San Marcos and County Fire-Rancho San Diego Monte Vista headquarters, El Cajon will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Christmas Day.
Five sites Tubman-Chavez Community Center in San Diego, Lemon Grove Community Center, the USD site in Linda Vista, Imperial Beach Sports Park Recreation Center, and Linda Rhodes Recreation Center in Vista will be open from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on New Year’s Day.
