all of this stuff becomes all right because it s put in the contest of a war. we declared war against terror, which is a war against tactic, which is silly. and you know now we have mi militarized everything. we see it as an attack to the state as opposed to an attack against individuals. we see it as an act of war instead of crime. then you louz all perspective if it s not really ang act of war. i would say two things. post 9/11 we forget. we didn t know what was coming next. and in many sense they were ad hocking it all the way. i wouldn t disagree that this is continuity. i ll give you a good example. where i m extremely proud of secretary nap lit know. you flash the color coded alert
dial up immigration based on skills. so some families will not be able to get here as quickly as possible and because people who have skills, computer programmers, engineers, whatever, are able to get her because they have the skills the american economy needs. jon: well as this bill moves through the senate and on into the house, presumably we will continue to follow it here on fox. karl rove, thank you. you bet, jon. jenna: the case against the boston marathon bombing suspect, why there are growing calls to be treated as a so-called enemy combatant. there are arguments for both sides. we ll break it down. new calls on chechen terror groups including past attacks like this one in a moscow theater more than 10 years ago. a brutal, brutal attack that got worldwide attention. there are questions surfacing today, how the groups may have influenced the boston suspects if at all. what you need it know, next.
i pick number three. you don t even want to read them first? i was elected to lead, not to read! how could cain have stepped into that? if there s a strong strain of anti-intellectuals taking hold of the republican party, could that be the case? and will voters go for that anti-intellectualism? david corn and washington bureau i m sorry. i m looking at the other guy there. he s washington bureau chief for mother jones, and ron christie, who s now broken into a smile, is a republican strategist, and fellow at harvard university institute of politics, very impressed. although i m not, just kidding. let s go now to david corn. let these people speak for themselves. first of all, leader, not a reader. what does he mean? you don t have to read the paper? you just get experts to do it for you? like when is he going to know these things? my question is, if you don t know it know, do you need briefers to tell you where libya is? i think that s exactly what

i think the rest of the united states would be very happy to keep california intact. among other reasons. in the defense of our state. tucker: call me. congressman tyler keeton s joins us. congressman, thanks for coming on. in my overstating what s at stake here as a constitutional matter? it know, we are either a country of laws over or not. the fact that people broke the law to get here doesn t mean the law is broken, it means they ignored and broke the law. we have to follow the law and what the department of justice did today and what another reminder of why we were right to elect president trump, california should be sued. these local and state politicians who do this, they ought to be locked up themselve themselves. tucker: by the way, there
