On Thursday, April 15, the Lisle Park District Board of Park Commissioners presented a resolution to name the new parks department vehicle & equipment storage facility Don s Garage in grateful recognition of Don Cook s 23 years of dedicated and accomplished service to the residents.
On June 16, 1998, Cook was appointed to the board and was re-elected to six 4-year terms since 1999. Lisle, IL – The Lisle Park District s Gentle Learning Preschool is adding new, in-person class options in the new year! Classes will begin starting in January, including a new 3-year-old class on Tuesday & Thursday mornings and a new 4-year-old class on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons. For those that are not quite ready for in-person learning, a hybrid option and virtual classroom are also available for both 3 and 4-year-olds.

The Lisle Park District s Remote Enrichment Center opened this past August to provide children in kindergarten through eighh grade with the support they need to learn remotely by encouraging social, mental, and physical well-being while maintaining academic focus and healthy habits.
The Remote Enrichment Center is located in the Lisle Park District Recreation Center at 1925 Ohio St. in Lisle.
Structured time is allotted for schoolwork, meals, snacks, and necessary brain breaks.
