Capitalizing on the growing kosher scene in Providence, The Jewish Alliance of Greater Rhode Island launches a new food competition on June 1. Top Nosh will not just highlight kosher food and vegan restaurants, it will also raise money for a food pantry.
For an $18 dining pass, participants can enjoy restaurant discounts and specials for the month of June. Rugelach, bagels, egg creams and more are featured items.
Lisa Maybruch said that in creating Top Nosh, she was inspired by Rhode Island Food Fights. Those culinary competitions, run by Jim Nellis, feature a range of foods from burgers to cupcakes to crown the best.
