In Niskayuna, residents are celebrating Peanut Butter and Jelly Day throughout the month of April by making sandwiches and donating them to families in need through the Nisky NOW (Nutrition on Weekends) program. Nisky Now provides a weekly delivery of food to families of district students in need. Donations of sandwiches and other food can be made at four locations: Nisky NOW Pantry (door 21 on the Van Antwerp Road side of the Niskayuna School District offices) from 4 to 5 p.m. Thursday, April 29 ; 2 Chestnut Lane from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily ( leave the items on the porch); Niskayuna Fire Department #1, 1079 Balltown Road, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays; and at the main entrance of the Niskayuna District Office, 1239 Van Antwerp Road.
