BBMP starts cleaning 100 black spots in city
In an attempt to better Bengaluru’s ranking in Swachh Survekshan 2021 survey, the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) authorities are leaving no stones unturned. In 2020, Bengaluru had a poor showing in the survey, ranking 214, against the ranking of 194 from 2019.
In the latest initiative, BBMP’s
Solid Waste Management (SWM) Department will attempt to beautify 100 black spots in Bengaluru, within 45 days. T“As a part of #swachhsurvekshan 2021, the BBMP #Clean100Campaign aims to eliminate 100 large garbage spots across Bengaluru in the next 45 days,” explained BBMP Special Commissioner (Solid Waste Management)
