The prodco has announced they are planning to give the long-running series a full refresh for 2021, va HGTV. Hosted by journalist Courtney Tezeno, the series has aired in more than 160 countries around the world – each episode featuring the story of gems and fortunes hidden in people’s attics. The original series ran to nearly 600 episodes across 18 series on the BBC, with the U.S. version airing on HGTV.
The new series is executive produced by Lindsay Schwartz and James Burstall, and the showrunner is Gabe Cunningham.
Joining Tezeno are experienced appraisers that include New Yorker Elyse Luray, who brings auction expertise built up over a lifetime to the series; collector Jean David Michel, who has turned his passion for comics into a career; and king of vintage, Marvin Jules.
