To my colleagues and members of this past weekend was the fifth annual world day of remembrance for traffic victims in San Francisco. While i was not able to attend i want to think president yee, supervisor mandelman for honoring the victims and families of those killed and injured by these avoidable crashes and for shining a light on the need to reduce speeding. So far, this year, in 201926 people have died in traffic collisions in contrast to the 23 fatalities in all of 2018. Of this years total, 15 People Killed were pedestrians and one was a cyclist. Almost 600 people have been injured in 2019. Our work to deliver vision zero quick work projects more expensively and quickly throughout the city continues and thankfully we will be aided by our collective efforts to get crop d passed earlier this mon

We are starting our conversation with stakeholders. This thursday, the policy Advisory Committee for the study holds its first meeting and the meeting is open to the public and will take place between 68 30 p. M. Residing in the units under management of those providers will be transferred to replacement units in the New Buildings as they are developed, just a reminder for everyone, our first building is in partnership with source to plow shares and China Town Community development and so those 36 source of plow shares units residents will move into that first building and our second building is in partnership with Catholic Charities and thats 135 unit buildings so 66 units will be occupied by Catholic Charities residents and then the remaining units well be trying to transition as many pre dda building as we planned including 23 units that we will be constructing without the benefit of Affordable Housing tax credits and other funding and where we transition households that dont meet income eligible requirements for formal housing. And so, its simple in that whoever is residing in those units will have an opportunity to move into future housing as long as they are and respective of when they ar
