BENNINGTON â As Cosmo Brown, played by Donald OâConnor, said to Gene Kellyâs Don Lockwood in the movie âSinginâ in the Rain,â âWhatâs the first thing an actor learns? The show must go on!â
On Friday and Saturday, the MAU Drama Clubâs spring show will go on, with a showing of their performance of the classic MGM musical on the lawn of the Park-McCullough Historic Governorâs Mansion.
The stage performance, recorded by CAT-TV, will premiere at dusk on the lawn in an in-person, red-carpet gala event on both evenings. Tickets will be required.

The greatest show on ice draws to an epic conclusion as the final three celebrities battle to be crowned this year’s iceskating champion.
Each couple will have to perform a showcase dance choreographed by Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean and recreate their favourite routine of the series, but just two couples will get to preform their own take on the Bolero.
