林小姐受訪時表示，當初從學校畢業後她與外婆兩人住在一起，因為必須進職場工作擔心外婆獨自一人在家很孤單，加上公寓不適合養狗，雖然自己有些怕貓，但還是做了很多功課，某次在一認養網站上看到一窩剛出生的小貓，詢問過後決定領養白底虎斑貓哥哥「玉米」與全虎斑的妹妹「濃湯」。玉米個性隨和也黏人，喜歡頂嘴又非常貪吃，愛吃水果甚至還會趁外婆煮飯時到廚房偷菜，而濃湯生性較為敏感，喜歡在高處觀察人，愛被摸摸拍屁屁但討厭被人抱，怪癖就是吃東西喜歡用「你丟我撿」的方式，讓第一次養貓的林小姐與外婆發現原來貓咪這
