Mackay musician Tate Obst finished off the Shine Bright evening with his own rendition of a Sticky Fingers classic. Attendees were dressed to impress, with many saying they were just excited to be out and about again after COVID.

UPDATE 3.15PM: A truck driver has been taken to hospital following a truck rollover south of Mackay.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said a crew was called to the scene along the Bruce Highway between Alligator Creek and Sarina about 1.45pm. A truck rollover on the Bruce Highway near Sarina has blocked traffic in both directions. Picture: Lillian Watkins
The spokeswoman said a man in his 60s was taken to Mackay Base Hospital with minor seat belt related injuries.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said officers also attended and work was under way to retrieve mail spilled in the incident.
