The city of Concord says construction is progressing downtown and in the coming months, it will shift to the Cabarrus Avenue intersection and toward Killarnay Avenue.
The Concord City Council on Thursday approved adding Article X to the city s code of ordinances, which will allow for the creation of a social district in downtown Concord.
