Savannah Brann, who is out on bail, is charged with aggravated assault, assault on a child less than six years old, and endangering the welfare of a child. A judge read Brann her charges on Monday in court. No plea was entered during the initial appearance and no date has been set for Brann s next appearance.

A report says the baby suffered asphyxia, possibly because the blanket she was wrapped in was too tight. Raegan is now in recovery and learning to walk all over again. She is also now partially blind. Brann faces aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

Court papers detail what investigators think happened to the child in early March at the Lil Beans Daycare in Windsor.
