Climate anxiety is a normal response to the reality we live in, where once-in-a-lifetime weather events are happening more and more often. While we can grieve for what we have lost, and fear for our futures, there are steps we can take to manage our anxiety and even channel these difficult feelings into action.

To bring Gay Burger to life, Daniel, Ameri, and team hooked up with Silicon Valley-based startup
house.ai, which bills itself as “a collective of 20+ seasoned founders and unicorn operators launching industry disrupting companies.” Together, they launched Gay Burger as a virtual brand “virtual” meaning it doesn’t have any dedicated brick-and-mortar locations of its own, but its menu can be adopted and served by any established kitchen in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York City.
That menu includes cheekily named items like
Love Me Daddy (a “studly beef daddy patty” topped with American cheese, pickles, white onion, lettuce, and special house sauce “gayoli”),
